Zero Carbon Rugeley

2024

The Keele University team led by Tom Bedford and Ryan Langley facilitated this pioneering plan for the Rugeley area transforming electricity, heat, and mobility for the existing community as well as any new developments in the area including the site of the former power station. Community engagement with local residents, businesses, and stakeholders has been key.

For the Great Imagining Cannock Chase Tom Bedford presented this programme and worked with Eliska Gooch and Anna Barber from Birmingham University on their toolkit for action ‘Let’s Get to 10%’.
