Solar for Schools

The national team at Solar for Schools create action and learning about de-carbonisation powered by the sun. They guide schools through their journey to enjoy solar energy on their roof, from funding, design, installation and operation, reducing schools’ carbon footprints as well as their budgets whilst empowering pupils with solar knowledge.

For The Great Imagining Cannock Chase, Solar for Schools representative Sian Herschel talked to student ambassadors from 3 schools about renewable energy and ran a workshop looking at the design for panels on their particular school and how this could save the school money as well as being good for the environment.
