The biodiversity and carbon sink of our Peatlands

We came with our sister organisation RE_PEAT who are campaigning for a complete paradigm shift around peatbogs and wetlands. These precious eco-systems are a vital carbon sink as well as providing natural flood defenses. What legislation and active citizenship do we need to ensure these specialist and misunderstood ecosystems are protected from land developers as well as abuse by our horticultural industries?
