Carbon Reduce-O-Meter

The Great Imagining Cannock Chase challenge is to lower the carbon footprint of the whole district by 10% in one year. This can be done easily by everyone working together to change our behaviour and bring our friends, neighbours, colleagues into the game.

Eliska Gooch and Anna Barber, Environmental Science students from Birmingham University are creating a toolkit 'Let's Get to 10%' to help everyone in the District work out what actions to take. This document as well as other information about taking action to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and increase nature and biodiversity is all on the relevant webpage where we will be regularly posting information about personal behaviour change as well as the bigger wins such as solar panels on schools or industrial food waste composters.
