Over January, February and March we worked with over 16 schools as well as 4 colleges and universities, running assemblies and workshops often with every student in the school including the teachers. The teachers then worked with the students to create artworks and responses to the climate and ecological crises exploring possibilties of a Greener, Fairer, Wiser future.

As well as introducing some simple Carbon Literacy into the school community, the whole district was challenged to lower the carbon footprint by 10% in a year so we were exploring with the students some simple ideas of how you might do this.

We worked with Birmingham ecological science and anthropology students to design a toolkit to lower their carbon footprint.
