TGI CANNING TOWN

18 November 2022
The Ideas Factory, Canning Town

This pilot took place over 4 days (Saturday to Tuesday) and had 3 evening openings.

There was an art exhibition with work from all corners of the UK including Birmingham, Norfolk, Cornwall, Swansea, Reading, Hastings and Margate. We worked with Alice Herrick on the curation process. She brought artists from all over the country together and hung the work on parallel strips of ribbon representing climate, soil and water.

There were guest chefs making food with narratives and stories of greener supply chains, regenerative agriculture and plant based food. This was against a background sound-scape created by Zivi Sainsbury which was played over the 4 days and included birdsong, folk music and sounds of nature.
