SPACES OF EXPERIENCES

1 April 2023
London College of fashion

The Great Imagining worked with Sophie Barr Course Leader BA (Hons) Critical Practice in Fashion Media, School of Media and Communication, London College Of Fashion, University of the Arts London.

The module was called Spaces of Experience and the students did market research with Jennifer Crouch and the students at NewVic sixth form college. They discussed with the students about what they understood by Greener, Fairer, Wiser as well what they know and thought about clothing and the Fashion industry. Some of the students were from Islamic families as well as other marginalised and yet tight knit East London communities and gave very interesting responses to the questions. The students then designed interactive exhibitions to engage larger and inclusive audiences from outside the fashion world. TGI associate Cloud Dare was one of these students and went on to work with the team at Stratford as well as Cannock Chase trialling their ideas and the design of Clouds craft and making workshop CRAFT-A-NOON
