London is home to many incredible parks, gardens and open spaces. Each carries its own very distinct feel and personality. There are parks with play areas, and peaceful places to sit by the river. Some parks are so vast it is possible to wander for miles through nature without encountering another human being, a contrast to more densely populated urban areas.
