Matthew has been for 3 decades one of the UK's best loved media broadcasters, art critics and journalists before focusing on his art practice: both with his partner Emma Biggs and now for the last few years with his own practice. He creates surreal narratives which collage art historical references with humour, pathos and parodox to muse on the deeper philosophical questions facing the human condition.
