THE
GREAT

IMAGINING

GREENER • FAIRER • WISER

THE GREAT IMAGINING is an invitation and a platform to imagine and take action towards a Greener, Fairer, Wiser future.

We run workshops and assemblies in schools throughout the UK, create our own festivals, symposiums, exhibitions, courses and learning resources, as well as support partnership festivals, gatherings, talks and conferences.

The Great Imagining events and publications are collaborative, accessible learning adventures for young people and their communities.

The Great Imagining Call to Action

Join our exciting journey - exploring and nurturing a living culture on a Greener, Fairer, Wiser world

Prince EA x The National Geographic.

This striking and memorable film, made by Prince Ea and the National Geographic team, has been shown dozens of times during The Great Imagining school assemblies and classroom workshops.  Together with our team of artists this film inspires imagination and collective action in young people, educators, leaders and communities.

Climate Science

If you want to know the science and why we all have to take action now please watch this film.

Featuring insights from scientists including Johan Rockström, Daniel Swain, Stefan Rahmstorf, and Samantha Burgess from the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF), and University of California/US National Center for Atmospheric Research, this film lays out the complex dynamics of planetary boundaries and tipping points, offering us a deeper understanding of the powerful forces presently shaping Earth.  All science has uncertainty built into its methodology. When we combine this with the evidence from our human experience as well as our gut feelings, it is clear we have so much to transform around our behaviours and our regional food, built environment, economic and political systems. The Great Imagining offers platforms and invitations to explore the possibilities of a greener, fairer, wiser future for all of us.
